Biweekly Pay rate: $1494.40 with waiver; $1678.40 with AA Degree; $1862.40 with BA Degree

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, M - F, 42 weeks per year

 Our vibrant Head Start Preschool Teachers educate, care for, and inspire the young minds at our Head Start, using a variety of teaching methods. If you are a teacher who has patience, compassion, and energy to help children succeed, apply today! Your Head Start classroom is waiting for you! As a minimum requirement, an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education; A baccalaureate or advanced degree in any field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education; or A baccalaureate degree in any field and has been admitted into the Teach For America program, passed a rigorous early childhood content exam, such as the Praxis II, participated in a Teach For America summer training institute that includes teaching preschool children, and is receiving ongoing professional development and support from Teach For America’s professional staff.
